چکیده

سمنانی یکی از گویش‌های اصیل ایرانی است که بسیاری از ویژگی‌های زبان‌های ایرانی باستان را در خود حفظ کرده است. سه ویژگی مهّم این گویش، کنائی(ergativity)، جنس (gender) و حالت (case) است که هر کدام از آنها را به طور مختصر در اینجا توضیح می دهیم.

One way to recognize the original Iranian dialects is to search for atleast one of the following three characteristics in them, namely ergativity, gendar, and case. With respect to the fact that semnani dialect possesses all the three mentioned features we can come to the conclusion that semnani dialect is one of the most original dialects of todays Iran.
