بررسی مقایسه ای میزانِ عدمِ تحققِ قواعدِ اصلِ مشارکتِ گرایس در یک نمایشنامۀ فارسی و یک نمایشنامۀ انگلیسی

چکیده

در این مقاله در چارچوب مبانی نظری فرضیۀ مشارکتِ گرایس [1]که مبتنی بر منظور و معناست، سعی شده است با اتخاذ روش تحلیلی ـ توصیفی، به تجزیه­وتحلیلِ دو متنِ محاوره‌ای(یک نمایشنامه به زبان فارسی و یک نمایشنامه به زبان انگلیسی) پرداخته شود و با ارائه جداول توزیعِ فراوانیِ عدمِ تحققِ هریک از قواعدِ اصولِ مشارکت میزان تخطی از هر قاعده مشخص و همچنین به روش‌ها و انگیزه‌هایی که سببِ تحقق­نیافتنِ این قواعد در هرکدام از نمایشنامه­ها می­شود اشاره شود. درنهایت نتایجِ کمّی و کیفیِ حاصل از بررسیِ این دو نمایشنامه با هم مقایسه شده است تا تفاوت­هاو شباهت­هایی را که این­دو به­لحاظِ عدمِ رعایتِ قواعدِ اصلِ مشارکتِ گرایس و دلایل و انگیزه­های آن دارند مشخص شود. نتایج این تحقیق نشان می­دهد که بین نحوه رعایت و عدم رعایت قاعده­های اصل مشارکت بین سخنگویان فارسی­زبان و انگلیسی­زبان تفاوتهای معناداری وجود دارد که از تفاوتهای فرهنگی موجود در جوامع مذکور نشأت می­­گیرد. نتایج این تحقیق می تواند هم در آموزشِ زبان فارسی و انگلیسی به­عنوان زبانِ دوم و هم در امر ترجمه از فارسی به انگلیسی یا بالعکس مورد استفاده قرار گیرد.

After surveying the theoretical foundation of Grice,s co-operative principle on the base of meaning and intention in this research, it is tried to analyze two conversational texts(one Persian and one English Play)by adopting analytic- descriptive method and resorting to the maxims that Grice had proposed for exchanging efficient information among participants in a language interaction. First we will refer to the ways we can use not to observe the maxims. Then we draw some tables which are included the distribution of non- observance of Gricean Maxims in both plays. We also refer to ways and intentions which may cause breaking those maxims. At the end we examine differences between non- observance of maxims in these two texts and give some explanations for possible reasons of these differences. The result of this research can be used for teaching the Persian and English languages, as a second language, as well as for translating Persian into English and vice versa
