Because time is a mental ability which individuals perceive through tangible and understandable experiences, such as location and motion events. The objectives of the present study were to investigate and compare the role of visual status and the effect of gender in the metaphorical understanding of the time concept in the subjects. Using the deictic pointing test, 203 directional metaphorical gestures to refer to the three past, present, and future tenses of the pointing gestures of 29 subjects who were fluent in both Ilami Kurdish and Persian, in three groups of sighted, blindfolded, and congenital blind children, ages 6-9 years, were collected and analyzed. Of these, a total of 191 motions were considered correct. The findings showed that the state of vision affects the metaphorical understanding of time as space. the blind subjects, unlike the sighted ones who often depicted the present tense by pointing downwards, employed a varied directional pattern to refer to the present. In addition, the sighted pointed to the front to depict the future tense, while the blind used both the front and the right directions to depict this time. Also, the same speed of male and female subjects in doing spatial and temporal deictic pointing subtests demonstrated the insignificance of gender in the subject performance speed (p > 0.05).}, keywords = {Time metaphor processing,conceptual metaphor theory,congenitally blind children,sighted children,deictic pointing test}, title_fa = {پردازش ادراکی استعارۀ زمان در کودکان نابینای مادرزادِ دوزبانۀ کردی ـ فارسی}, abstract_fa = {برپایۀ نظریۀ استعاره‌های مفهومی لیکاف و جانسون (1999)، افراد زمان را ازطریق حرکت در مکان استعاره‌سازی می‌کنند، زیرا زمان یک توانمندی یا مفهوم ذهنی است که افراد آن را ازطریق تجربیات ملموس و قابل درک، مانند مکان و رویدادهای حرکتی، درک می‌کنند. اهداف پژوهشِ حاضر بررسی و مقایسۀ نقشِ وضعیتِ بینایی و تأثیر جنسیت در درک استعاریِ مفهوم زمان در آزمودنی‌های پژوهش بوده‌اند. با استفاده از آزمون عبارات اشاری، 203 حرکت استعاریِ جهتی برای اشاره به سه زمان گذشته، حال و آینده از حرکات اشاریِ 29 آزمودنی که به دو زبانِ کردیِ ایلامی و فارسی مسلط بودند، در سه گروه کودک بینا، چشم‌بستۀ بینا و نابینای مادرزاد در ردۀ سنی 6-9 سال گردآوری و تحلیل شدند. از این تعداد، درمجموع 191 حرکت، درست درنظر گرفته شدند. یافته‌ها نشان دادند که وضعیت بینایی بر درک استعاریِ افراد از زمان براساس مکان تأثیرگذار است، زیرا آزمودنی‌های نابینا، برخلاف بینایان، که اغلب زمان حال را با اشاره به جهت پایین نشان می‌دادند، الگوی جهتی متغیری را برای اشاره به زمان حال به‌کار می‌بردند. علاوه‌بر آن، بینایان برای نمایشِ زمانِ آینده به جهت جلو اشاره می‌کردند، درحالی‌که نابینایان از هر دو جهتِ جلو و راست برای نمایشِ این زمان استفاده می‌کردند. همچنین، سرعت عملِ یکسانِ آزمودنی‌های مذکر و مؤنث در خرده‌آزمون‌های عبارات اشاریِ مکانی و زمانی نشان داد که جنسیت تأثیر معنی‌داری بر سرعتِ عملکردِ آنان نداشته است (05/0<p).}, keywords_fa = {پردازش استعارۀ زمان,نظریۀ استعاره‌های مفهومی,کودکان نابینای مادرزاد,کودکان بینا,آزمون عبارات اشاری}, url = {https://lsi-linguistics.ihcs.ac.ir/article_7584.html}, eprint = {https://lsi-linguistics.ihcs.ac.ir/article_7584_a36fee844b73fa4d3b859b7aabb8c2c0.pdf} }
